Sharon Balsamo, LPC

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Oregon, a Certified Breathwork Facilitator and the author of Deeper Magic: Crafting a Meaningful and Spiritual Life. With over 19 years of experience, I specialize in working with clients with anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, spiritual concerns, and women's and LGBTQ+ issues. I offer individual therapy, Breathwork ceremonies for individuals, couples and groups, personal intensives, and workshops and retreats for deep healing and transformation. Honoring your process, your needs, and your personal beliefs is my priority. For those who are interested in a spiritual approach to healing, I incorporate Dreamwork, meditation and trance, and tarot and Oracle cards into our sessions. In addition to the modalities listed below, my work is also informed and guided by Polyvagal Theory and Internal Family Systems. I believe understanding and working with the nervous system is the key to unlocking our ability to thrive.
